Tariff for Whisky to enter China reduces from 10% to 5%, effective from 1 December 2017.

China’s State Council has reduced import tariff of 187 products, among which, liquor has seen the largest tariff reduce.

For Vermouth and other mix liquor packaged under 2 Liters, the tariff rate for the most favoured nations will reduce from 65% in 2017 to 14% starting from 1 December 2017. Tariff for Brandy and whisky will reduce from 10% in 2017 to 5% starting from 1 December 2017.
