New beef cattle breed “Yunling” will become the 4th breed of beef cattle which was developed by China independently

“Yunling” is one three-breed cross high-quality type which is bred by Academe of grassland and animal of Yunnan, screening from tens of crossing breeds beef cattle. Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Department show great passion on this project and has approved to appropriate funds for 3.8 million RMB. “Yunling” has passed the preliminary examination of national new livestock and poultry breeding.
Now base has 3,800 inventory foundation cows, 648 nuclear breeding cows in Yunnan. Six cooperating organizations have transferred 1,135 embryos, made 0.1 million doses BMY breed frozen semen, and propagated 23,291 BMY and cross breed beef cattle.
